The Curvelle quaranta is a 34-meter luxury power catamaran yacht with a nine-meter beam and four decks. It was developed by the Curvelle quaranta design team and built in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013. The yacht is the largest carbon hybrid composite motor yacht catamaran ever constructed in the world, making it a unique presence in the yachting industry.
One of the most distinctive features of the Curvelle quaranta is its entirely flexible guest stateroom layout. It offers over twenty configurations out of the six guest staterooms that can be changed at a moment’s notice. This flexibility allows the accommodation configuration to be adapted as needed, providing an unprecedented level of customization for guests.
The Curvelle quaranta is also the first superyacht under 50m LOA that features over three square meters of window surface in each guest stateroom area. This design feature allows guests to enjoy panoramic views of the sea from the comfort of their rooms. Privacy is obtained through tints, ensuring a perfect balance between openness and privacy.
Another innovative feature of the Curvelle quaranta is its hydraulic platform that can lift a tender loaded with guests from the water to the main deck. The platform, with a three-ton lifting capacity, can also lift a two-person minisub or a car. This platform serves as an entertainment area that brings people in closer contact with the sea.
The Curvelle quaranta was built entirely in Istanbul based on a cluster yard principle with the access and budget to partner with the best subcontractors. It has won multiple awards for practical innovation, design, and value for money. Over 150 pages of editorial have been dedicated to the Curvelle quaranta in the global nautical press since its launch in 2013.
The Curvelle quaranta is a testament to the power of innovative design and technology in the yachting industry. Its unique features and groundbreaking design have set a new standard for luxury yachting, earning it the prestigious Golden A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award in 2014.
